Mount Ararat Counseling Center
"the Center that cares..."
The Counseling Center’s approach to addressing client needs integrates spiritual, Christian, ethical and religious values. It is the Mount Ararat Counseling Center’s (MACC) belief that the infusion of these elements into the counseling process is essential for the overall development of those that will be served. Another goal of the MACC includes providing Christian-based psychological and emotional support, as well as social services to clients, who may or may not be members of the Mount Ararat congregation but who are in need of professional guidance in dealing with issues that may prevent effective and responsible conduct of their daily lives.
The target clientele for the MACC are individuals, couples, families, and groups across the lifespan (i.e., children, adolescents, adults, and older adults). Furthermore, the MACC will be targeted to members of the MABC congregation, to other church congregations, to members of the East Liberty area of Pittsburgh, and to members of the greater Pittsburgh Community.
Our services include individual counseling, marriage and family therapy, couples counseling, and group counseling, psycho-educational workshops, and advocacy.
